JOINING

It is 100% FREE to join and use DatingDiva! There are absolutely no fees, so put that credit card away!  Just click the "JOIN NOW" button on the menu and fill in your details on the forms provided. Once you submit the registration form, you will be our newest member. Your profile will be exposed to all other members and visitors.

FILLING IN YOUR PROFILE

Your "Nick" must be at least 5 characters long, and only contain letters, numbers and an underline.

Your last name is never displayed to any users.

The more complete your profile is, the better chance you have of finding an ideal match.

There are 22 different dimensions that you can have in your profile. Some dimensions allow you to select multiple choices. To do this, simply hold down the "CTRL" key while clicking.

MULTIMEDIA SUBMISSIONS (Photos, Icons, Voice, Video)

Your icon is the smaller picture displayed with your profile. Pictures are larger.

All multimedia submissions must be acceptable with our terms and conditions: no nudity or profanity. All submissions will be examined & approved by the administrator before being seen / heard by other members. Approvals are usually completed within 24 hours. Please be patient.

Profiles with photos get 10 times more responses that those without, so show us yourself!

INSTANT MESSAGING

You may send instant text messages to users who are online. If they respond, you've started an online conversation!

IM's can be only sent from your home page (once signed on) or from a user's profile link in a search result. IM's sent to users not online are not delivered.

SEARCHING FOR A MATCH

With "Quick Search" you can easily search for users who have birthday today, by their Nick, who's online, those on your friend list and new members.

The "Advanced Search" option you can find others based on more specific criteria. Nearly every field from the profile creation process is searchable with this search feature, allowing you to get search results of perfect matches.

SEND A KISS

A great way to initiate contact with someone!

Once you've searched for members, click on the link "Send a Kiss". Some members don't always know what to say in a typed message, or might not have time to send a message to 30 different people. The send a kiss allows them to let someone know they are interested simply by clicking a link.

SHOUT BOX

Here's a great way to get attention. Registered users can enter a phrase in the box and have it appear as others are browsing or searching. See someone that catches your eye? Click on the shout box and view their profile!

ONLINE CHAT

Similar to Instant Messaging, Online Chat is a fully functional chat-room area where you can converse with other users publicly and privately. Join or create a chat room, invite others, get the party going!

ALERTS

You can select various "alerts" by ticking the appropriate box when you join. These alerts are sent to the email address you provide when you join. You can elect to receive emails for any or all of the following:

• new members joining;
• new perfect matches;
• someone viewing your profile;
• new message in your DatingDiva mailbox;
• birthday reminders of DatingDiva friends; and,
• site news.

To remove an alert go to the "My Account" panel, and un-click the appropriate box. 

DATING FORUM

Can be found at the link at the bottom of the screen, or, after you've joined and logged on, you can use the link at the top left. Membership at the forum is free. Memberships at DatingDiva and the forum are not linked. We've done this to protect our users.

REMEMBER

When logging onto our site and when registering with personal information, we use very strong encryption to send data back and forth, from you to our servers. We keep your personal information very confidential. Any information we collect (your real e-mail address, etc..) which could lead to someone else contacting you outside of this site and without your desire, is kept from the view of other members, partners, and third-parties. Whenever we discover a member who is suspicious or has the potential to defraud other members, they are deleted immediately. DatingDiva NEVER passes email or personal information to any other party.
